OMG, so today is just dragging...dragging in such a manor that Facebook isn't entertaining enough. So, I'll do something I haven't done in forever...BLOG!

Technology > Me  (Part 1)

So yesterday was travel day to Mississippi. I thought we would be leaving shortly after the kids got home from school. Well, that didn't work-out as anticipated. I had my laptop packed away and the kids were entertaining themselves on the desktop. Luckily I have a Crackberry. To surf the net I use Opera Mini and I saw an update for my application. I don't particularly like Opera Mini but it's light years better than the Blackberry Browser so I deal with it. Why I was hoping the Opera update would satiate my desire for a web browser that works for mobile phones is beyond me, and I should know better. I simply bide my time until Mozilla launches "Fennec" for anything other than the Nokia 8x0. I can't wait to use a mobile browser that actually displays web pages in the manner that they were created and meant to be seen.

Technology > Me (Part 2)

My Photo gallery keeps encountering Internal Server Errors. This has been an ongoing problem since mid-September. I don't freaking get it. Everything worked fine and then like a switch being turned-on, I started getting these errors. I have done everything in my power to trim code and make the site as lean as possible, but I can't get rid of this 500 Error. My host says that my script uses more resources than I am allocated but they couldn't explain why this problem suddenly started without me making any changes to my site. I think they're full of crap...now I just have to prove it...or try to determine what it is that is causing my problems. Unfortunately to determine the problem I need logs and I don't have access to those particular logs...grrr.
