Sometimes I gotta vent.

I've been a little disappointed with the lack of use this web site gets from family and friends.

I mean, yeah, I don’t update daily, or heck, even weekly. I do however update. Maybe if I got a little feedback I would update on a weekly basis. Hell, I feel like I’m standing next to a tree in a forest, and the only thing listening to me just fell down and I know nobody heard that.

I’ve tried to make this site as easy as possible to navigate. I tried to add some bells and whistles so family/friends can contact each other, share stories…just plain share life.

Yes, I designed the site to focus on the (now) five of us and from what I can tell, that’s how it’s used. However, I get NO feedback. Yeah…I can go into logs and tell who visited and when (I can even discern you anonymous visitors), but what fun is that?

If you’re a family or friend, why in the heck can’t you take the time to register with the site? Do I need to make a privacy agreement? This site is 100% mine. There is no 3rd party. An email is sent to me and nobody else when you register. Can a site be hacked and information stolen? Yes, but I’ve supplied the safe guards that I am able to supply to prevent that from happening.

I’ve given registered users the ability to ADD a lot to this site and nobody has really taken-up the offer. I’m sorry that I make you register to get a little functionality. Unfortunately, if I didn’t do that, I would get some stranger telling me how good he thinks I’ll look in a pair of Speedos.

Maybe now that my sister has a Myspace.com account I’ll get traffic…which means…now that I think about it…a stricter registration process.

Damnit! More work, and for what? So I can listen to another tree fall in the forest?

If you would like I can forward that on to you.     Really, thanks for registering and thanks for bitching about my bitching. At least I know you took the time to skim-over my ramblings.    It was good seeing ya again and I'm glad I only brought my 'C' game up against Jeff's 'A' game.
