3-0!
Dacula Falcons Soar Past Grayson Rams, 31-6
Week 1: Dacula Falcons 26, Brookwood Broncos 0
Week 2: Dacula Falcons 32, Collins Hill Eagles 0
The Dacula Falcons gave-up their first points of the year on a kickoff return early in the game, and made the Rams pay for those points the rest of the game with shutout ball.
Though the final score might not reflect it, the Rams were a tough opponent that came into the game with a 2-0 record of their own. Their defense was extremely tough and made it difficult for the Gold Offense to move the ball. Luckily the offense was able to keep mistakes to a minimum and created some long drives that resulted in scores.
The defense played a stellar game. Grayson came into the game averaging 33 points per contest and the Rams couldn't even manage a 1st down against the Falcons 'D'!
Trey didn't particularly have the greatest of days. Though he didn't make the tackle, he did put a helmet on a kickoff returner (the same returner that ran the previous kickoff for a touchdown). Trey slowed down the returner just enough that his team could gang tackle the returner and keep him from scoring another TD.
On offense, Trey was able to maintain some blocks and on other plays he let the defender slip by him. As always, the game was a great learning experience and I'm sure he'll use the lessons from today to keep on making himself better.
