Taking the opening kickoff, the Falcons showed Grayson they came to play with a touchdown and conversion on their opening drive. Grayson was unable to move the ball very far on their possession and had to punt the ball away. On the Falcons second drive, they again methodically drove down the field for their second touchdown and quick 13-0 lead.
Taking the 13-0 lead into the second quarter the Falcon Defense continued to dominate the field. The Falcons tacked on an additional touchdown and a 19-0 lead that they took into the half.
With the Falcons firmly in control, they continued to play physical on Defense and with their second team Offense they were able to grind the clock. The Falcons were able to tack-on a 3rd Quarter touchdown and grind the 4th quarter clock for a 25-0 victory.
Next up for the Falcons will be the 11-0 Mill Creek Hawks (NN) for the 8 year old GFL Championship! The Hawks come in with a perfect record of their own on the line and a Defense that has recorder 6-shutouts during the season. The Mill Creek Offense averages 23.2 points per game and earned the right to play for the Championship with a 20-13 victory over the Shiloh Generals in their Semifinal match-up.
