March Wrap-Up
Written by Ed Jr.
Saturday, 29 March 2008

It may be hard to believe but March is quickly coming to an end.

We hope everyone had a beautiful Easter. We thought about the 7am sunrise service (yeah, right) but settled for our usual 11am service. Honestly, other than joking, the 7am service was never an option. We got to take a rare afternoon nap as a family, and I think the sleep did us all some good. Mary made a ham for dinner and everything was delicious.

Isaac, Mary and Bugsy

Isaac has started with his tee-ball games. The games are fun to watch and the rules really cater to the age group. They play "2-innings" or 1-hour...whichever comes first. Each team gets to bat all of their players during their half inning, regardless of outs. Score isn't kept and every child gets to hit twice and run the bases twice, I really think Isaac is having fun, and he looks good in his uniform!

Isaac Getting a Hit

Last, and certainly not least, our big guy celebrated his 8th Birthday. Though it was school day, Trey appeared to have a very nice day. Mary made some homemade cupcakes and took them to Trey's classroom for all to share. When Trey got home, we let hime open his gifts. Isaac and Bugsy got Trey some cool pool toys. Aunt Meghan, Uncle Lance, and Margaret gave some cool pool accessories, flip flops, and cool summer clothes. (luckily Dad supplied the correct gifts to the correct kid). Grammy and Grampa supplied some nice looking dress clothes and some money that's already burning a hole in his pocket. Mom and Dad got him some inline skates that went over very well (Way to go Mom and Dad!). He's only been on them a few days, and he's zipping around like a vet! After dinner we had some cake and ice cream, with a little 'Happy Birthday' being sung.
